Highweight hasn't won in a while but certainly has done in the past (many of the Loblloly colts that have won toted 122 lbs).
Concert Tour was all out (and drifted out) to beat Freedom Fighter sprinting last time, and the latter didn't flatter the result in the Gotham next out. Gave way without much of a fight down the lane and yet the final furlong of the Gotham was slow and a 40-1 shot won the race.
Baffert entered two in the Rebel, and Hozier looked well within himself winning a two-turn race to break his maiden second time out. Gets tested for class as his maiden score was your typical 6 horse maiden special workout at Santa Anita. The runner-up in his race (Fenway), came back to bomb again last weekend.
I find it interesting that Caddo River and Concert Tour are getting all the press right on top of the race. Turf writers were falling all over themselves all winter keeping us informed every time Keepmeinmind went to the track...and now crickets. Maybe they finally looked at the PPs?
