I always enjoyed Thaskalos's take on handicapping and was really looking forward to his book - which unfortunately never got published. I wrote him a couple of times to see if there was any way to buy a copy of the rough manuscript, but he didn't respond - likely sick of me bothering him .

But we have most of a book by looking at his comments on PA. Hope things are going well for him

Thanks. I have had my surgery, but am still in the hospital. Once the tubes are removed from my chest, my recovery should pick up steam. Pain is moderate, but only because of the tubes.

Get well soon! I just spoke to a customer of mine today, he is 70, had open heart surgery two weeks ago. He's doing well. My uncle Anthony had open heart surgery to replace a valve three years ago when he was 92. He's still going at 95. It's amazing what they can do now.

My mom had triple bypass 14 years ago....It's the least of her concerns.

You WILL beat this and be stronger than before !
