Paulick Report
i've had it with these damn pop up ads on the site every time i want to read an article. it's enough to make me not go to the site.
It' not so much the pop up ad I have a problem with, it's the way it's programmed. it's too memory intensive and I'm a web developer so I usually have a lot of stuff going on with Photoshop and illustrator / Dreamweaver / other misc stuff going on with my computer when i am online , only to open this site and the ajax based pop up just temp. locks up the entire browser.
i don't like it. a regular pop up would be acceptable.

I never get a pop up there didn't even know they had such a thing. As Tom said a pop up blocker would do the job nicely.

You can set them to only work at some sites if you like, such as the Paulick Report.

i could come up with some smart alacky argument but you are right i suppose i could.
i don't use them because a lot of sites i build or we build have pop ups and we need to test stuff out. but yeah i guess you are right.
still though its annoying as hell

Just think how 'smart alacky' someone could be with you being you build websites and can't figure out how to turn on & off a pop-up blockah.

Does everyone see the irony here? The guy complains about pop ups, but he can't use a pop up blocker because he makes web sites that use pop ups and a pop up blocker would hurt his testing. This can't be for real.

good god tell me how to do my fvcking job why don't you.
every "pop up" is not a spam ad. "pop up" is nothing but a scripted functionality. we put pop up video players in porn sites for instance.
i don't know why this has become a roast toussaud session. the point is i should not have to even use a pop up if he used a regular pop up ad on his site. that shit he has on his site is too memory intensive.

so basically your computer is bogged down with all the porno windows you got open for "testing" purposes?
Solution:
Work.
Watch Porn.
Read Paulick.
Pick two maximum for multi-tasking. Save the third for later, or put them into rotation.

i just installed a pop up blocker and it's still doing it.
you guys are so busy trying to roast you aren't listening.
his ad on his site technically is not a pop up. it doesn't actually "pop up", it "takes over the screen". think of it as pop up 2.0 if you will. pop up blockers don't read ajax. so i can't block it if i wanted to.
