I am almost tempted to give Anneau D'Or one more shot since they removed the blinkers. Ultimately I'd like to see what he can do if they put him back on the turf though.

Right now I like Charlatan in Div 1 and Farmington Road as a longshot for the 2nd division. Probably would change but for now these two horses look like the ones to beat!

Charlatan-Winning Impression
Outside of Charlatan nobody really grabs my attention. Speightstown isn’t really where I look for 9f but Haynesfield and Golden Ticket both got 10f I think...
Both races are probably a pass for me but I want to give the other division a closer look. Nadal looks beatable to me.

The race's divisions had to both be redrawn during the course of the original draw on Sunday because of a common ownership issue concerning two horses, according to an Oaklawn official.

Have seen no detail beyond that...

charlatan still has things to prove, but this looks like a pretty damn weak group.
morris was pretty disappointing in the fla derby and he still looks like the 2nd choice.

Charlatan gets the dream post for style and the primary speed to outside scratched. Now it's just a matter of the speed holding up for another panel. Elite milers can wilt at this distance but the ho hum field might make it irrelevant. It's plausible Anneau d'Or could hang with if back to form. I was underwhelmed by GM in FL Derby but the race looks better on paper. Five lengths behind Haskin's #1 Derby horse is not too shabby. Winning Impression, Crypto Cash, and My Friends Beer might be good tri or dime super fillers as they have previously flashed decent LP figures.

It looks like Rockingham Ranch became part-owner of Fast Enough since the horse's last start.
The original draw had both their horses (Wrecking Crew is the other) in the same division. Ended up a moot point with the scratch.

Two additional scratches. This entire split race is now a sham.
