It's been a fun season.

Handicapping non-claiming three-year-olds is always a difficult and exciting challenge . . . lookin' forward to the next one .

A good fine thanks to Oaklawn Park for steppin' up and providing us horse racing fans with a good and fine product, outstanding work.

This is the one.

It's the 30.6 split for 6F to 8.5F that has me impressed. That potentially translates to something between 37.0 and 37.6 for a final 3/8. He's got the Buckpasser-x and strong tail female line. My only knock is Samy Camacho isn't your standard G1 pilot but he's plenty competent winning at a 20% clip and hitting the money 50%. The pick.

Ain't that peculiar . . .

I was looking at King Guillermo’s past performances and I found it rather peculiar that after he broke his maiden at Gulfstream Park West on the grass at 48k, and after running 3rd on the grass in the 75k PulpitB . . . he then
  • Drew off
  • In a G2 race
  • First time shipping
  • First time on the TB dirt/sand
  • With (0) works on the TB surface
  • From post (11)
  • With a new jockey
  • Racing (3) wide for (7) furlongs
  • Racing within (1) length of the leader
  • Running the (6) to (8) furlongs faster than the (2) to (4) furlongs
  • While increasing his BRIS (12) points from 90 to 102
  • At 49 -1

I still like Wells Bayou. Maybe with the Baffert horse in there he won't actually be the PT fav.

It's been a fun season.
I've always liked Silver Prospector, so I thought it necessary to add him in an additional bet:

Good luck everyone, should be a fun day at the track.

i don't normally bet plc/show but the odds on king g are too good to pass up.

across the board for me

plz don't bounce....you were too good in tampa to be a 50-1 red rubber ball

I'm going to put a small win bet on Fennick The Fierce and play him under in some modest vertical bets. Kiss of death.

and 9 top/bottom of all

oaklawn can be 'reactionary' at times, and I think the money is too heavy, on Nadal, although he is the best horse

you also have the as a long shot. He's probably not a contender, but he's 50-1, and possibly was victim to a premature move into a hot pace last time.

Nadel very impressive. Ran to his recent training. The King showed up but may be a notch below the Bafferts.
