Curt Schilling (Hall of Fame...NOT)

Amazing a pitcher of his stature is shunned from the Hall on account of his political views and not baseball.
Being treated as if he'd been on steroids and beat his wife for 20 years.
None of this is surprising of course...just very sad, and a black eye for MLB.

Curt should be 100% to be in the Hall of Fame... not putting in it cheapens up that honor.. who the hell are the sports writers to judge someone's political idea's? this country is better when there are opposing political views as long as they don't wind up in hate and violence.

Nope. This country is 100% better when people all think, talk and act the same exact way.

Or are forced to.

I can't wait until this is achieved...through any means necessary.

Everybody talks about his WSeries in Boston.

In Arizona he teamed w Randy Johnson for one hell of a series

No question he’s a Hall of Famer

I read that on-field performance isn't the only prerequisite for HOF induction. It seems that off-field "character" is also an important consideration. Which makes one wonder how a Ty Cobb ever got voted in.

As long as the negative press does the voting, the same people that scream the right to free speech, he'll have a tough time of it. His exploits on the baseball field should be telling them all they need to know. Plenty of players of dubious distinction are already there. HOF without a doubt.

He got in before the era of political correctness.
