City Zip progeny

Does any have any stats for his progeny @1 1/4 or 1 1/8 on dirt? Probably not a lot of past starters at those distances out there. Thanks

Over his lifetime, City Zip's progeny had an average winning distance of 6.55 furlongs.

On the dirt in black type races, I believe only 2 horses won between 9-11 furlongs.

Collected did so at the top level, winning the Pacific Classic and placing in the BC Classic at 10f, while also taking the Californian and the Sunland Park Derby at 9f.

The other horse was Alert Bay, known mostly as a turf horse, but he also took the British Columbia Derby at 9f and the Premier Handicap at 11f on dirt, both at Hastings Park around Lord knows how many turns (it's a 5-furlong track).

City Zip had several horses that were effective around two-turns on turf.
