TVG pimping sports betting on NFL games?
I dont know too much about it, but they seem to be pimping viewers to wager on the NFL?

It's fantasy football pools. I don't know how these companies get away with taking bets without actually having gambling licenses.

I have been saying this exact same thing for years. Every office I have ever worked in had football fantasy pools and practically every employee was involved with real money. Maybe we just need need in house company bookies to play "fantasy horseracing"...

It is because the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act specifically exempts fantasy sports as a game of skill. See this link: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/31/5362
While this was being drafted and eventually passed in 2006 and was seen as a big win for the horse racing industry. Poker would be stamped out, and racing could turn their focus onto making it harder for their own customers to wager on the product, such as in states like Arizona, where using a licensed ADW was made a felony.
But the bill also opened the door for these online fantasy sports leagues to thrive, and now they are doing a couple of billion dollars in business and still rapidly growing.

Finding winners against the spread is a game of skill, too

Seems very odd considering competition for the gambling/entertainment dollar. Also happen to know the Feds are looking very closely at the above mentioned law to see if the "draft" companies are truly complying with all the regulations. We'll see how long these strange bedfellows stick together.

I hope most expecting a dollar for dollar bonus will be extremely disappointed.
Has anyone else realized FanDuel's "Deposit Match" is a misleading scam?

How much of your Draftkings Bonus has been released?

I'm going to go out on a limb here since there has been lots of ads and mini infomercial on TVG there can only be one reason. Betfair has or will be buying some sort of stake into them with an opportunity to buy more. They're getting a household name and a company that's starting to emerge from infancy that could probably need guidance from a grandpa like betfair. Only time will tell if I'm right or wrong, either way it won't be the last one.

From what I've read, Betfair is not listed as one of the investors....yet. But advertising dollars are very important and it looks like Draftkings is now the biggest advertiser on TVG.

I thought I lost TVG on U-verse a couple years ago. While programing my remote for favorites, I discovered that it had just moved to Fox Sports Prime.
Any other horse racing TV channels out there that I'm missing?
I know that Fox Sports One also has horse racing on occasion, as well as the regular networks. Of course, I get HRTV as well....
