The Blaze ignores plans for increased prosecution of repeat offenders. It doesnt mention plans to amend the law regarding $1,000 limit on felony charges. Let me clarify that. Under current law stealing less than a thousand dollars in one establishment is a misdemeanor. Under the proposed new law the $1,000 would be cumulative over several stores.
You hear nothing about a repeat offender data base, or a neighborhood watch program.
