But does it really matter when it seems no one will be held accountable, can you hold someone accountable when they leave office and they then say who is she about his wife? Believe it that it is all part of the plan, even if in reality he leaves office with total recall.

In the other thread on the war I took the unpopular position that the war was easily avoidable and was actually the US's fault because it refused to acknowledge the legitimate national defense concerns of Russia, the fact that the US/NATO ignored that Russian speaking people in eastern Ukraine were being systematically purged by extremist Ukrainians, and that it was the US (CIA) that instigated the uprising that put a clown like Zelensky into power to begin with.
Sure, it all sounds like Russian propaganda, but it happens to be true.
Many things can be true.
Putin may be an anti democratic thug that rules over a bunch of oligarchs and kills off political opponents and hostile journalists like a mafia head, but as leader of Russia he also has to defend the interests of his country and the Russian people in Russia and on the border.
The US can be a much more democratic place than Russia, but our government, IC, and media can also be full of corrupt liars that wanted this war, want to weaken and overthrow Putin, want to use Ukraine for personal corrupt motives, and that are sacrificing hundreds of thousand of innocent people, destroying a country, and lying to all all of us just because they didn't want to and still don't want to negotiate peace.
