Or the better question is: Why did the Hebrew writers use two words for "Lord"? If you want to find out who "both" are, you need to do a in-depth word study using a concordance to give you ever instance of their uses and how they're used. Enjoy your study.

And don't pay attention to what PA said. Don't forget: He's the self-admitted clueless one -- you Mr. No Answers!

All this Trinity stuff relating to the OT is nothing more than some serious backfitting...if you were doing this in horse racing, you'd get killed at the windows thinking you'd found the key to the mint.
Which is another way of saying this is how clueless people like yourself deceive yourself into believing you have won an argument or debate, apart from presenting any argument for yourself or by answering any tough questions from your opponent. Smooth move, Mr. Ex Lax.

And some casual reading for those interested in religion, the entire third edition of Frazer's Golden Bough--all in convenient PDF format. And free.

I might also suggest a critical (and careful) exploration of The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind.

Never is when you go with the crowd. It's kinda like betting the favorite every race. Going against the grain, though, requires thought, study and work.

This is one boring-ass thread to read with the same nonsense over, and over, and over. One day, for the sake of ALL who are sick of this crap, I will personally come in and blow-up the thread, eradicating the deadwood that sits its' fat-asses here, accomplishing nothing....I will choose the day, so enjoy what time you have left, it isn't long...

Yes, don't pay any attention to what I say. Pay EXTRA ATTENTION to scholars of the Hebrew language, and Rabbis who have studied the Torah their whole lives, because they actually know what they are talking about when it comes to the "Old Testament."

While you're here Rich, let me ask you a question... Do you know who owns the building on 666 Fifth Avenue NY, which has a tenant by the name of Lucent Technologies, which makes the RFID chip?....Hint, Ivanka knows.

I agree. That is why I find it so amusing that some believe they "understand religion" when their views are the conceptually impoverished equivalent of "If you wanna keep 'em, keep 'em barefoot, broke, and pregnant."

I think anyone who wants to understand religion would do well to understand humanity. I am a big fan of Montagu. Especially his Cultured Man, which I grew up believing (along with many others) described the barest essentials necessary to engage in thoughtful discussions of any topic more complex than the weather (or politics).

"Montague Francis Ashley-Montagu (June 28, 1905 – November 26, 1999), previously known as Israel Ehrenberg, was a British-American anthropologist who popularized the study of topics such as race and gender and their relation to politics and development. He was the rapporteur (appointed investigator), in 1950, for the UNESCO statement The Race Question. As a young man he changed his name from Ehrenberg to "Montague Francis Ashley-Montagu". After relocating to the United States he used the name "Ashley Montagu". Montagu, who became a naturalized American citizen in 1940, taught and lectured at Harvard, Princeton, Rutgers, the University of California, Santa Barbara, and New York University. He authored over sixty books throughout this lifetime. In 1995, the American Humanist Association named him the Humanist of the Year."

Last I heard Kushner Properties was still the owner after an attempt to sell the property to a Chinese insurance company fell through. They had previously sold off the retail space, and brought in Vornado Realty as a partner for the office part.

I used to work in a building next door to one of the Lucent Buildings, a spinoff of AT&T. Either the people who worked there were the legions of Satan or simply science geeks. Often hard to tell.

If people are wondering how this connects to the Religion thread, 666 is, of course, the mark of the beast, and the RFID chip to be implanted in everyone's right hand at birth is the predicted mark of the beast. And while Lucent might want you to believe their name is the Latin word for "light-bearing" (an allusion to fiber optic cables), we know it is just a reference to their real master, Lucifer.

President Jared Kushner (Satan has fooled many people into believing Donald Trump is president), well known as a Democrat in cahoots with George Soros, will be implementing the plan as part of what many people believe is the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

Planning session tonight at Comet Pizza.

And Christians don't have scholars who have studied the scriptures all their lives? And Christians don't have scholars who are thoroughly conversant in the original languages of the Old and New Testaments? And Christians don't have degreed scholars who majored in the OT scriptures at seminary? Do you realize how idiotic you sound? You really believe that it is only the Jews who have a "mortal lock" on understanding the OT -- simply because of their bloodlines? Their bloodline make them extra-OT smart!? And their Jewish bloodline guarantees that they are honest truth-seekers, too, right? You have truly gone off the deep edge, Mr. PA.

Rabbinical scholars are no different from any other human being. They put their panties on the same way as everyone else does. They share in humanity's fallen nature and, therefore, come into this world spiritually blind and dead! The world is filled with religious scholars who are always learning but never coming to a true knowledge of the truth!

2 Tim 3:6-8
6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, 7 always learning and NEVER ABLE to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected as regards the faith.
NASB

Jews opposing the Truth!? Who would have ever thought such a thing possible!?

And what makes you think that God has given your beloved rabbinical scholars hearts to know, eyes to see or ears to hear!? Why would you presume that!? Listen to Moses in the Torah:

Deut 29:4
4 Yet to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear.
NASB
