How's boxcar?
I think that some time in the past boxcar stated that he lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL. That would put him right in the path of Hurricane Ian. So how are you boxcar? (and any other FL residents we may have here.) Hope you are well.

And by the way, I have people who live in Jacksonville. They are OK. Ian detoured right around them and they only got a little rain.

Ian took a northeasterly path across Florida. It could easily have hit Ft Lauderdale after coming ashore at Ft Myers.

I'm fine thank you. I didn't even get to test out my batteries. The storm was light in my area, generally speaking. However Delray Beach to the south of me some did get hit with a tornado or two that did considerable damage.
It was actually weird here on the east coast on the day when the storm approached the west coast. It was partly sunny for a good part of day with some gusty winds at the worst.
