Good year

The Mets had a good year but they have too many non-productive players and in spite of their record I never thought that Buck is that good of a manager-he has multiple players that should not be playing starting with Ruf and McCann-good luck the rest of the way

A big part of is will be if Max Scherzer's arm holds up in the play-offs. His arm was worn out by the play-offs last year coming off injury and that hurt the Dodgers.

Rebooting for any thoughts on the "repurposing" . . . I like that Uncle Steve is applying his hedge fund mentality . . . when you realize you are stuck with a dog of a position, cut your losses and convert the sunk costs into other assets. First offseason move should be to offer Alonso a fair deal for say 6-7 years to buy out his free agency and avoid that distraction, but if he rejects it and says he wants to play it out until free agency, deal him for some more A+ prospects in furterance of the "repurposing" . . . here's to 2025 and onward . . . Let's Go Mets!!!

They are a joke--go from 100 wins to 100 losses--he has mucho cash but has the wrong people in charge--he should have fired his analytic team,Eppler and Buck a long time ago--please keep him away from the New York Giants as they seem to be heading in the right direction--

When your bullpen commits a walk off balk things clearly aren't going your way.

Statistically a Walk off Balk is about as rare as a Perfect Game.

21 Walk Off Balks (as of 12-31-2016)
24 Perfect Games (as of 06-28-2023)

I still don't get why they shoveled all that money at Verlander and Sherzer.
Are they going to get anything decent for them?

They made one sharp move for sure. Off loaded scherzer for what is now a good mutts prospect. Acuna Jr's little brother . Chris Young blew that one

Max scherzer = modern day Lee Mazilli. Barf
