Delaware Park

Went there for the first time last Saturday. I thought it was well worth seeing. Before the noon college games kicked off there was a lot of people there betting sports. I bet Mizzou +14 1/2 and they lost by 14 Unfortunately I spent the rest of the day losing on the PA Derby and races at CD. That Borel bomb at 50-1 that won the Dogwood, I couldn't have got that horse w/a ouija board. I didn't like the small fields at Delaware so didn't play them, but the fields are big this Saturday-picked the wrong week to go.

I love the layout of Delaware Park. The stands have been totally remodeled, and the paddock is picturesque.

One of the nicer tracks I have been to.

I bet the 2nd horse to win and took a $1 exacta back wheel saver. Sometimes the "ALL" button is better than a ouija board. Collected $355.

Yes, but unfortunately you need a ouija board to know when the all button will be better than a ouija board.

Nice! My best bet of the day won race 8 (#2) and was live in the pick 3 (hit the DD multiple times but didn't pay anything w/the Cox horse winning race 9) but didn't push the all button in race 10. $.50 Pick 3 (2-9-2) (3 Correct) Paid: $798.35 Also, the track going from fast to muddy to sloppy is always difficult

It always has been a pretty little track.

This Saturday is what they used to and may still call Owners' Day, where everyone runs for inflated purses and there are a lot of state-bred stakes. That's why there are more horses. It's tough to hit that one day a year when Delaware has nice-sized fields.

I was there once 25-30 years ago.
Beautiful place.

Inside, they had TVs and easy chairs! for simulcasting.

Cool place for sure.

Saw my first Arabian race there - had no idea t was Arabian, and when the horse came to the paddock, I thought they were deer!
I'm thinking and they mock FL!

I went up this morning to cash some bets I made on the World Cup. It's still a beautiful track and the Sportsbook and Simulcast area's are pretty nice. They do need to do something about that tiny oddsboard on the 3rd floor sportsbook though.
