YET AGAIN-BRIS IS SUBSTITUTING ALL-WAYS FILES
Unbelievably, for the 3rd time in this past month--Bris can't provide the single file data for a major track (AQ) again.
...and again--they are substituting ALL WAYS data files. This tells me whoever is making these decisions either doesn't have a clue about his business, or just doesn't give a shit.
I spent 15 minutes of my time on the phone trying to get a file I can use. (AAODDS HAT)-which they grudgingly agreed to send.
This seems to reflect the culture, and state of horse racing today.
That's all I care to say on this subject.

aqu1216j is what I initially received @ 6:30pm PST. At 7:00 they sent the Hat file to my email. I wouldn't insult you by asking if you checked the file they sent--I just can't understand why they are now again sending those ridiculous All-Ways files. As you know, they are useless for anyone using the Bris single-file data

Couple questions:
RANCH WEST: did you pay the $5 for the Multicaps file, when you originally wanted the $1 Bris file?
SPEED FIGURE: I'm curious--are you able to "batch" download Bris data files...or one at a time?
One last question...Imagine Bris were Amazon (and isn't Bris one of racing's big players) with their current, almost non-existent customer service?
Has anyone from Bris ever commented here at this site? Addressed issues and customer problems? I've been told they monitor this site for any "nefarious" illegal data-swapping, etc.
That gentleman from the ADW is always monitoring for any issues, as well as other businesses and vendors. Hell, even Ellis is always looking out for Equibase.
The problem with Bris is...they have a captive audience, and they know it. One day perhaps we won't be beholden to Bris--when that day comes...adios BRISNET.COM.

As of now it's one at a time, but I use the safari browser so it automatically unzips them!

A guy here had a BRIS downloader years ago, but BRIS kept making it not work. I wish there was a downloader. The BRIS method is time consuming and often fails.

You can do that with most unzipping tools and Windows Explorer. Just select all the files, right-click and select extract here.
