I could not even get a token bet with a friend of mine on Raiders-Bengals, but I will tune in to root for you, probably mostly on satellite radio as I do some shop maintenance. Nothing like following a ball game to pass the time whether driving or doing mundane tasks. Games seem to mean more with something riding on it, even if it is just who pays for the pizza.

Betting the home team and the favorite to win every playoff game. I don't follow pro football, how often does this happen? Seems to me that picking one underdog would greatly enhance your return if you could find one.

I found this about Wild Card Round:

*Road teams are 14-4 SU and 15-3 ATS L4 seasons*

*Road teams favourites in 15 times in the last 13 seasons with 10-5 SU and 7-7-1 ATS*

*Home favourites favoured by 7+ are 13-2 SU and 11-4 ATS since 2005*

*In the last 24 Sat games Home teams are 18-13 SU and 17-13-1 ATS and on Sundays Home teams are 14-17 SU and 11-19-1 ATS*

*Sunday Road NFC teams are a great 12-8 SU and 14-5-1 ATS in the last 20 plus the Under is 15-5 in the 20 games*

*On the AFC side the L4 Saturday road teams have won SU and ATS one in each the L4 seasons*

*In the 14 WC matchups that are divisional rivals road teams are 11-3 ATS but only 8-6 SU since 2003*

Looks like your chances of winning are slim going by these numbers. Tampa is winning I see so you should be half way there!

I think the last 4 seasons for the wild card round were an aberration as far as the failure of home teams. You had some pretty weak division winners that hosted teams during the wild card round. You had a 7 and 9 win team come out of the NFC East in back to back years.

Yep probably was the smarter choice to round robin

Anyways try again next round

I like the Rams like everyone else but have a feeling like the Cards could upset/wake up like what you said

you also got veterans and experienced players vs a bunch of young first timers in a playoff game....

I'd go LA RAMS

My friend who needs me to bet for him since he lives in California and doesn't trust offshore operations, thought round robins looked interesting, I looked into them and think they provide low value. I see them as the equivalent of betting a 2-1 shot or less across the board. Your 4-1 so far was the same straight up and against the spread. Maybe you should try smaller parlays but use the spread so two gamers pay +250, and 3 gamers +600, instead of betting money lines.

On the other hand if you are up, it could be bad business to change up playing style due to a mini slump.

I just look at trends, the Cardinals played poorly the last month or so of the season, the Rams did well during the same period except for the week 18 loss
to the 49ers. That could be because the 49ers are better than we give them credit for.
