Civilians used to have to answer for theier actions, too, but not anymore.

Tom...they don't understand. They, without question, support Totalitarians like they are under the impression that they are going to get some kind of Kudos for their support...while History has clearly shown that said Totalitarians only see them as a resource...nothing else. When their usefulness ends...well, that's why they are called TOTALITARIANS.

To be honest I do not know what we are, but what I do know is millions of votes in the 2020 election were bogus. The effort by the Trump administration with the Abraham accords as well other foreign policy accomplishments was more than any President did in 20 + years. Today the wife told me the media said Biden was going on a apology tour, I expect him to fall down in his first five bows.

They have no right to investigate local police. They hold closed the purse strings if refused. The Justice dept. hands out huge money to police departments all over the country. The system is driven by grants etc.

The civil rights act grants the federal government the power to investigate local police. There are other federal laws as well. As you mentioned taking federal funds also gives them authority.

People wanting, themselves, to live like this (to whatever extent) is their business. The problems begin when said people take on the role of FORCING it on others.
