You are better off catching Omnicron than not
he says that this strain is very minimally harmful to you and the anti-bodies could protect you against more harmful strains in the future. this is discussed late in the interview, i totally agree, and this man is not pushing a political agenda.

You mean there are more harmful strains scheduled for the future? And I was getting optimistic for the new year.

I just got covid. On December 22, I came home dead exhausted. Slept about 36 hours straight in 1 to 2 hour intervals.(I wasn't overly concerned because I was working 55 and 60 hour weeks). By the 24th I was about to visit folks so I went to get tested. Fast test. Positive Which indicated that I was into it for at 2 or 3 days.. What do I have? Omnicron or Delta. "no way of knowing". Fortunately I guess, doctor did sell me the combo of zpak/hydroxy and zinc. I was more than happy to take it. At first it was the exhaustion and then a cough, some nausea and a weird feeling in throat, I just call it covid, because it isn't something I have experienced before ever. It was just sort of nasty. Think that went away by the 28th or 29th. Really minor symptoms throughout after the first week.. Slept a lot. I just sort of have this little lingering cough. Never had issues breathing. All in all it was sort of weak, which leads me to believe I had the Ominicron variant. Finally went back to work and worked and 8 hours shift. Just got back from it a couple hours ago and honestly feeling fine even though it was a struggle to do my 8 hours shift-did not realize how hard I worked until I had to do an 8 hours shift recovering from this . Fortunately I am out of my business as of mid November, so I did not have to worry about missing the 2 days before Christmas(that would have been a nightmare). The only thing I really have going on is a lingering cough.
My conclusion is that the hydroxy/zpak/zinc combo did help because when I started taking it is when I started to get better. But can't say it with certainty. Could be a coincidence. Also conclude that I likely had Omnicron and it was not overwhelming. I don't want to downplay it too much, I did feel like crap and slept a lot for at least 10 days, but I feel like other than this cough, I should be back to normal within another week. The cough is not devastating, I just want it to go away eventually. I am sure it will.
I am just not sure what this Omnicron is or whether it is going to provide any future natural immunity. Hopefully it will. At his point I am so tired of this covid crap, this booster crap, this deception crap, all of it. I know there is a lot of covid going around now. My wife has a lot of it in her family and my job has texted like 15 or 16 cases in the last 10 days or so(one of which was obviously me). I don't even post about covid anymore. I just come to conclusion believe wtf you want to what the heck you want to do. Just still really bothered about these vaccine mandates. They are so sick. Did really enjoy (I do not know if enjoy is the correct word-more like endured) the Robert Malone interview on the Joe Rogan show. Was very glad to see him get that kind of exposure. Seems like a lot of folks skeptical about him. He comes off as a straight shooter to me, fwiw. I hope he opens up some eyes the crap that has been going on.

Another True Confession
I, too, just got over something today (flu, covid or whatever!) Don't know because I didn't bother to get tested.
My wife came down with the "bug" first last Wednesday, which "coincidentally" was the same day I heard from a good friend of mine who told me he came down with covid on Tuesday of last week. He knows it was covid because he tested for it. In two days, virtually all his symptoms were gone. The reason I bring him into the story is because him and his girl friend attended candlelight service at my church on Christmas Eve and we were sitting right next to them.
My wife felt much better on Thursday and felt completely like herself on Friday.
But on Thursday I came down with symptoms, including a headache behind my eyes, fatigue and a low grade fever. Today I felt nearly 100% better. My symptoms lasted four days because getting a good night's sleep can be challenging with my back, neck and shoulders conditions. And restful sleep is really important when a bug hits you. But the Lord was good to me, and I managed to get a couple of nights of decent rest.
My only treatment was to drink plenty of liquids and I took "mega doses" of Quercetin, which I'm sure helped with the fever aspect. And since I've been on a steady diet of Q&B for nearly two months, anyhow, I have to think that also mitigated the symptoms from the very start.
I hope I had covid because now I have the best immunity in the world. The medical establishment can shove their experimental drugs up their nose with a rubber hose.

get a antibody test. My son who is unvaxxed had covid ( never tested, no taste 2 weeks, etc) last year. He tested for antibodies one month ago and he was loaded with them. I plan on getting the test, i was vaxxed (health care no choice) 10 months ago, i am getting the antibody test, i have no plans for any vax again.

I am thinking of doing that. But I have to wait at least 30 days from the date of the onset of symptoms, right?

You better wear a mask, Richie. You don't want to be spreading those antibodies around!

We've considered that the 5-week/Covid-like virus that we got over about 3 weeks ago MIGHT have been Omicron.
I don't think there is really a way to know.
But as nagging as it was, it was maybe 15% of the Covid experience (for us).

I had a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose for about a week right after I spent a few days visiting various doctor's offices for assorted unrelated tests. It was strange because it kept coming and going without any fever, weakness or other symptoms. I'm hoping it was omicron. That would be like getting a natural booster. I may eventually get an antibody test, but I don't want to go to the doctor's office, get back a negative result, but catch something while I'm there. So I'm going to wait a few months until this leg dies down in Queens and then get tested.

My friend who had covid delta, was told by doctors loss of taste and smell are attributed to delta but not omicron.

I've had 20 of my employees tell me that they are afflicted with COVID over the last week or so. They stay out of work for 3 days and then they tell me to put them back on the schedule because they are all now testing negative for the virus. It's getting to the point where I don't know what to believe anymore. Is this really COVID? Do people THINK that they have the virus because they are taking the store-bought tests whose results are ambiguous?

It's been a dumpster fire since day 1. Why should anything change now?
But keep trusting the "experts" to tell you what to do and think...everyone should...lol

Are the over-the-counter test kits made in China? If so, we can confidently rest assured that high quality is built into every kit.
