But the DC Circuit specified "bona fide Washington journalists". Trump needs to quit trying to win a battle of wits with Acosta and have one of his attorneys file a motion showing that Acosta doesn't qualify under that criteria.

The fireworks would be a lot more fun than what is happening now.

Doesn’t work that way. Other journalist would lack “standing”

The only ones with a beef are ones that are already there or assigned very close. They would have a reason to sue. The random guy from the Fernwood Gazzette Bugle in Toe Fungus Utah would have no standing

Acosta is a hack.

Trump and staff are making their rules

and in the future, until rules made, Trump will just stop and leave the pressing if things get out of hand.

Shouldn't have to work that way. It's totally backwards. But then again...so are very many things in this world.

Trump has an ego that is as YUGE as his mouth. Do you really think that he would walk away from an intellectually challenging debate like the one he had with Acosta the other day? Such devastating rhetoric:

Quote:
Trump told Acosta that he should “let me run the country” and Acosta “should run CNN.”

“You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN,” Trump said.

The ruling did not say the Accoster's rights were violated.
Major point.

You have no idea what the definition of assault is. Assault is striking or touching a person in a harmful or offensive manner. Moving a persons arm a few inches is not assault. Assault must have a criminal intent. What was Acosta's criminal intent? Asking Trump a question that Trump is not smart enough to answer? In that case every reporter in Washington is guilty of a crime.

Judge Kelly disagrees. Let me rephrase that. Judge Kelly, a Trump appointee, disagrees.

Jim Acosta is guilty of constant non-professional journalistic decorum, protocol, integrity, mindfulness of other journalists, rudeness, disrespectful behavior at all WH Press Conferences, to both the POTUS and WH Spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders......Sanders deserves none of Acosta's behavior whatsoever, period..

But if you do that when you're under my roof, that's something else. I'm probably going to ask you to get out of my house.

Plus in either case there is the thing about disrespect for the Office.
The White House Press Room is a public place. It is not Trump's home. His home is The Residence which is upstairs. Trump would have every right to throw any reporter out of the Residence. He has no right to throw a reporter out of the Press Room.

For almost two years, Trump has been disrespecting the Office.
