Interesting race at AQU - R4

Barefoot Angel -
Mclaimer gets a bullet work 1/68!
Top TF ES but, looks to hook up with

Port Arch
Top figs lightly races. looks legit favorite

Mr. Massena
Lots of starts but most on turf.
His three best figs 44-65-53 all on dirt, one in MSW
His 65 is the top fig for the field but somewhat hidden
Claimed last time, fist at M25000 and jock has been successful for this trainer before.

My tipping point - he has the best TF LP rating by a good margin in a race that looks on paper to have a speed duel. His 83 83 EP/LP tells me he can be pressing and have the first run late.

Need 5-1 and I am on him

Aqu R3

Vulcan's Forge - best LP rating, cuts back
Summer Revolution - good figs at 7 a while ago - looks to be finally on track - could move ahead enough to day get part of the exacta

In your fourth I'm inclined to take a shot at Our American Star if he's up at or over 8-1 off the layoff. There are some back races that figure to work well if this race plays out the way I see it and he can capitalize on the flow.

John, his connections are all in for this race.
IF you have the DRF print, look at him -

...Blinkers OFF
G L166

Is that what there are calling them now?

Well, race 4 turns in to another scratch fest - what the hell, no one wants to race in NY anymore??

This card is turning into garbage quickly.

Race 5

Power Nap if they have the balls to run him.

What a pathetic card this turns out to be.
I will never again bother to look at AQU the night before.

Race 6 - huge upset - only horse in the field to win more than 1 race. Best TF LP in a field full of really cheap early speed.
No - didn't have it. Left the track already.

Tom,

I had Stormy Highway at AQ yesterday. Only bet $5 to win instead of my normal $10. Ninety percent of my bets are win bets. Will take a shot at the Rainbow today though.

AQ has been hammering me so I have been laying off that track. You are right, the cards have been crappy. I still looked at the PP's though.

Went through the PP's and noticed it was coming right back within 10 days with a jockey switch (one of the parameters I look for in my long shot plays). Ran a 6F in an OC 80K last out, now getting the 1 post. The 5 and 6 hadn't raced in over 2 months, the other 3 just broke their maiden. Had to take a shot.

Just wish I bet more on it.
