I think it depends on if he gets to pick first choice. He is apparently getting
that at Keeneland. At other tracks he might not get that distinction. It was
awesome in the Stakes today that the crowd figured he had been picking
winning horses all week but now in this stakes he some how made a mistake.
As a handicapper, he would be close to picking 100% winners and all with
out a computer to boot. The jockeys can pretty much figure out who is
the best horse in a race.

I don't know, jerry; the old adage I heard is that you could become wealthy booking bets in the jock's room.
Anyway, I think it's more about the trainers knowing who the best jocks are rather than the jocks knowing who the best horses are. Rosario's agent touts his prowess, and the top horses come to him; success breeds further success, and it becomes a self-fulfilling phenomenon.

I think that Rosario also is a great reader of the racing form and has the ability to get the most out of his horses by handicapping what is the best way to get his horses to the winners circle.

Credit goes to the agent, but credit also goes to Rosario for hiring his agent.
A lot of jocks have good agents, but there are a select few as good as Rosario.

I think he won the last race too on Punctual Jeff to make it 5 winners.

That ride in the Derby Trial was just a thing of beauty.
Joel's success could not happen to a nicer person in the business today.

Ron Anderson is a great agent, but you have to have a great jockey to complete the exacta.
Anderson also handles Alan Garcia so he has his work cut out for him booking live mounts for both of them, but things get much easier when you have a boy like Rosario who is winning with almost everything right now, who also does not have a swell head and listens to his agent's advice helping him to plan out his career.

Rosario move east
If Rosario stays in California, do you really think he gets the mount on Animal Kingdom and Orb? If you don't have east coast connections like the older guys like Smith, Bejarano and Gomez, you won't get live mounts in the big races. I'm sure the west coast people will get their panties in a bunch over this comment.
