Amid explosive demand, America is running out of power

A real smart time to charge EV cars, some say the EV leave more harmful things into the air than gasoline powered cars.

It is all happening at the same time the energy transition is steering large numbers of Americans to rely on the power grid to fuel vehicles, heat pumps, induction stoves and all manner of other household appliances that previously ran on fossil fuels. A huge amount of clean energy is also needed to create the green hydrogen championed by the White House, as developers rush to build plants that can produce the powerful zero-emissions fuel, lured by generous federal subsidies.

What's your point? The electric energy debate and where to source it is a major sore subject for me. The reason being is both sides of the debate either flat out lie or can't do math and do not understand Ohm's and Watt's laws. The article you posted linked to a site that claimed a data center requires a large nuclear plant to run it and uses the power of 15-22.5k homes. First with what Googling says large data centers consume in power
60-90 megawatts, that would give 4,000 watts average for those homes.
4,000 watts will not even run an average home AC unit. Also nuclear energy plants are at the top of the list of production per acre in KWH, wind is the worst.

So when it comes to this debate F**K all you all! We seem to live in an era of misinformation.

Man, your words per minute is fascinating. Are you dictating all these posts or typing?

Just curious?

Dictating? You must be joking, I have an odd deep monotone voice that none of those things that follow voice commands can understand. Because of battered sausage fingers on small devices I type slow. I can type ok speed on a normal keyboard, but my method is not conventional. I have not tested my typing speed since Jr. High. It was 45 words a minute, which is good for a man, but nothing for a female secretary. I am pretty sure I have slowed.

As for the female secretary comment that was not sexist, women have much skinnier fingers than men which makes it easier to type fast.

The only good thing about my voice is for some odd reason people who are hard of hearing can understand me when they struggle listening to others.
