With a Democrat House the investigations into Trump conducted by a Robert Mueller are nigh invincible...
The Administration can either let the DOJ continue or let the House takeover where it left off. Its really that simple.

Obama lost 63 seats in 2010 mid terms.
This was NOT a blue wave.
Some of us said historically, it was likely the GOP would lose.
You ignore that.

Trump will reverse the whip on dems, I think hell have a dozen or more investigations on them by summer. Investigations going on both ways. 24/7. Congress will be tied up in this mess, the economy will be ignored and go south. Guess who the fault will lie upon (hint , it won't be trump, but that will be the medias target)
The next two years will be a zoo. If the zoo is the "consequence" then two years later the dems will lose the house. I don't think this will set well with independents, who by the way decide elections in this country
Also if impeachment is the result, no biggie. Few seem to recall Clinton was impeached. If jail is the goal, forget it. Pardon by pence. Simple as that. Feinstein gets locked up Long Before trump ever sees that
