I forgot what I originally read, I did not think anyone witnessed the man drown. It does seen strange that a man unable to swim would not be wearing a life jacket. In California everyone on a water vessel on public land must have access to a life jacket and I think if 14 and under you must wear one at all times. Not sure about rules in other states. In a lot of areas it is just common sense to wear one at all times even if you are the world's greatest swimmer, you never know when some idiot will buzz you in a boat when you are paddling a long minding you own business.

It's weird how it seems like only Democrats have strange deaths happening all around them...
The only Republican I can remember recently is that dude on MSNBC now...

I would venture a guess unless hit with extreme weather out of nowhere half or more of all boating accidents alcohol or drugs is involved. It does seem real odd a guy who even took lessons and decided he was not cut out to be a swimmer would not be wearing a vest.

The fact that redacted things over an above just protecting the identity of witnesses and that it took so long to release the information tells you something went on that they don't want us to know. After that it's speculation.
