Thanks for posting, that popular song was made when I was 2 or so, yet I have heard it countless times. It was probably MSN, which has no original content, that if the mouse gets too close, to the lower icon bar a story report pops up and blocks half the screen, it had "Astrud Gilberto dies at 83", but it showed a picture of an old man. Since the name didn't ring a bell,
and if you did not post this I would have do idea the girl from Impanema just passed away.

I saw a short documentary on her, she was only paid $120 for The Girl from
Ipanema, and no royalties. That was studio musician session pay back then.
Of course that was the first song she recorded and it made her famous.

Don't know how many enjoyed the 2015 rendition "Man from Uncle", an old tune was part of the movie when Gabby (Alicia Vikander) was getting drunk

I never realized how great this song was until I heard it played live.

Couldn’t go through it all. Two of these might be in the thread but the third I’m confident is unique.

Kyle r,
Samba Pa Ti was a real buckle polisher.
My favorite song... I'm Going Home, Ten Years After. Makes me move.
