Tax Break on Racehorses Passes Congress

Owners get tax relief, as they should.

Bettors get nada.

They really didn't get anything that wasn't already in place for the prior 4 years.

Yes, I know read articles before posting.

Bettors got nothing through NTRA, but owners did. I will not ever again pay membership in NTRA. They are a marketing company - do nothing for bettors.

They can lower the takeout now since owners with this tax break won't need those large purses like they did before.

The owners didn't get anything that they didn't already have. Their so-called tax benefits had expired and they were just renewed for 2014 only.
