Announcing: Improve or Decline: Unraveling the Mystery of Form

Product Announcement:

Improve or Decline: Unraveling the Mystery of Form

Does it bother you that form cycle is the hardest factor in racing to define?

What if you had a systematic approach that will tell you which horses are likely to run an improving race today? This has special value with long-priced horses.

What if that system also told you which horses were declining, even though their last race might have been a good finish? This is especially valuable for finding vulnerable favorites.

This is precisely what my new seminar, Improve or Decline: Understanding the Mystery of Form is all about.

It is in the final stages of development and will be released before the end October: target ship date is October 25th, two weeks from today.

The seminar begins with an introduction into a new way of looking at form cycle. Rest assured that this is not more about "bounce theory." It is not about "0-2-X" (for those of you who are Sheets or Thoro-Graph users), although that is a pattern which has merit.

You have never seen anything like this before. It is brand new. I invented it.

The goal of the seminar is to teach you how to do this for yourself, first with our energy numbers, then with speed ratings. In the final part of the seminar we will show you how to easily make your own energy numbers from any speed rating. Yes, we think our energy numbers are better but this system will work with any speed rating.

The video seminar includes all you need to integrate form analysis into your own handicapping. It comes on a DVD which you play right on your computer. (I am not sure at this point what it will look like on a television.)

Cost for this video seminar is $77. Shipping is $6.

Pre-release price for PA members is $47. This deal is available until Thursday, October 21st. That's 10 days from today.

As always, we will not charge your credit card until we are prepared to ship. This product comes with a 45-day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee: If you don't want it, send it back and we'll refund your money.

To order, just call the office at 775.853.1234 or send me an email with your phone number and we'll call you!
(Our new online store is in the works for November!)

Thanks for all the orders. Production is continuing on schedule and we expect the DVDs will be sent out for duplication on Tuesday, Oct. 19. They will be shipped on Friday, Oct. 22.

However, just after our first ship date we are going out of town for several days - my 41st reunion!

While the price "PA" price is in effect until the 21st, if you order after Oct. 18th your order will be shipped after we return from vacation on Nov. 3.

So, if you wish to get the great price AND timely delivery, please get your order in by next Monday.

Regards,
Dave Schwartz

Just a reminder that, while the sale lasts until Thursday, ordering by today is the only way to guarantee your DVD will be in the first shipment. Orders after today may not get shipped until Nov. 4th when we are back from vacation.

Call or email us today to order.

Just so everyone knows, we opted for a very high resolution video format for this 3-hour seminar. They are MP4 files.

If you have Windows 7, you should just be able to play them with a double-click in Windows Media Player. If it does not play, or does not play well, you might need to download a new (free) MP4 codec. The link is provided in the instructions.txt file on the disk.

If you are in Windows XP, Media Player does not, by default, play these files. However, with a free downloadable codec file the issues are easily fixed.

I am not sure why but the Quick Time player does not seem to play these files well. The audio does not match the screen. I suggest Media player is a better solution.

There are ten segments in the seminar, each in its own separate file.

1. Opening
2. Campaign Theory
3. Grades
4. Using Speed to Eliminate Slow Horses
5. Review (of the first three sections)
6. Using Beyer numbers instead of energy.
7. Using Final Time instead of energy.
8. Using the HorseStreet Pars to make Speed Ratings.
9. The Decision Process (play a full card)
10. Closing

Uh oh.....what is involved in this? I have a problem messing with my video - every time I do, I lose ability to watch other sources, like You Bet. Patches usually mean problems.

It is really no big deal. In fact, on the pristine machine I tested it on, it fixed some video problems I was having.

I am going to play it through VLC. It's a very good media player and has built-in MP4 capability. If you don't want to have trouble with other players just don't associate any file extensions (except maybe .mp4) when you install/configure. That way VLC shouldn't interfere with how the other media players are working.

Here's a link on how to play MP4 files.

I have a MP3 MP4 player 8 Gig that handles all formats in Hi-Def. Screen size is 5 x 8 and is clear and sharp as can be. Slip the disk into my laptop transfer with USB and there you have it, done. Best part buying direct it was $79.00. I have many Dvd's like Dave's and was the reason I bought the player in the first place so when his arrives I'm ready to go.

It's not a DVD. It's a data CD. I doubt that it will work in that device.

Wait... If you are saying that you are playing it from the laptop it might well work. It will certainly play on the laptop.
