Trump was President on J6, was he insurrectioning himself. 
Capital police were firing into for more than 30 minutes the crowd thus inciting them.
The tear gas canisters blew back toward or were thrown back forcing them to retreat inside leaving their positions.
The whole fiasco was planned and executed by Nasti Nancy and
brutus Pence.

You seem to think firing into the MIDDLE of people packed like sardines that have nowhere to go but trample each other is a bad idea? Most all of the police procedures on J6 did serve an important purpose. Video of it can be made into a training film on what things not to do in crowd control.
Another good point to make if you have a cut lip and are wedging a door open with your riot gear do not scream and cry like a little girl, showing you are a weak spineless coward will not earn anyone's respect or your authority nor fear you as a threat.
I swear if I was that guy's CO I would have backhand slapped him and fired him as soon as I saw the video. Most of the Capitol Police are an embarrassment to this country and definitely to anyone who wears a badge.
