Betting Simulcasts at SA

Going to have a few days travelling for business on the west coast and may get to swing by Santa Anita for a day. I have never been so a quick question:

Where would the best place be for someone solo to set up shop looking to bet not only SA but also the east coast tracks? Also, are the windows open at 9 AM Pacific for the early east coast races?

Thanks

There is a set of escalators between the clubhouse and the grandstand just left and above from where the horses pass through the building...take the escalator up one floor then turn right and walk towards the club house....there is a little room, very nice, with big screens, tellers and machines right there...toward the back is a balcony area to looks out below, toward the area after the horses leave the walking ring....maybe if somebody knows the name of this 2nd floor room they could help out...probably will need a clubhouse pass...

Don't think SA opens til 11:00 or 11:30 AM PST so you miss the early east coast races. Usually entry is free to seniors on Thursday and Friday. Also, parking is free those days. If you have a laptop and an Expressbet account you can us the SA WIFI to bet vice going to the window. If it is a must for you to bet the early east coast races I advise you go to Huntington Library in Arcadia at the intersection of Duarte and Santa Anita Ave then go to the track for the live races. Good luck!

i love the Eddie Logan room. it is located on the second floor at the clubhouse turn.

if you are going to want to sit down in a dining room, The Frontrunner is up high and overlooks the finish line with televisions at every table and all around the place.

Generally you can bet east coast races starting about the 3rd race.

Depending on the day of the week, some areas of the track are not accessible for early bird.
