I WAS JUST WORKING ON MY SARATOGA RACES AND SEE THE #5 PAID $24 ON THE DOLLAR.
IT FIT INTO THE 15 PLAY FORMAT I'M WORKING ON. FOR ME IT WOULD HAVE RETURNED ON $0.81 ON THE DOLLAR, BRINGING TODAYS RETURN FOR THOSE 15 RACES DOWN TO $1 RETURN OF $1.10
WHO KNOWS WHAT THE RETURN ON THE NEXT 15 RACES WILL PRODUCE.
HERE ARE TODAYS 15 RACES SO FAR:

@cj
The Beyer team gave Raise Cain, Slip Mahoney, and General Banker a 90 / 78 / and a 75. (respectively)
Did the timeform numbers land in the same ballpark?

Time for a new spreadsheet, is it not?
I've always liked the look of your layout, cj, really easy to assimilate a Big picture.

My main concern was equibase was missing the 6 furlong clocking. I plugged it with Gmax on my end. Brisnet used the stretch

I watched the replay... hard to tell if the loose horse set the Half, the 6F, or the stretch call. Maybe all 3... does the pps give credit to Carmel?

The loose horse tripped the 6F timer. That time was omitted until reviewed by the NYRA Stewards.

I've been slacking! Not really, but I'll get to it next week after Tampa.

Alright, I got inspired. Here is the image of the Derby preps. I haven't done the Oaks yet, will post the full spreadsheet once I do:

Awesome! I always appreciate seeing the spreadsheet done for the preps.
Thanks cj.
I've been doing my own figures for the prep races this year and have been comparing them to the Beyers when they come back. After I saw the Gotham Beyers.. I kind of felt something was off with my figs or theirs... After seeing the timeform figs.. I fall more in line with you guys than the Beyer team.
That said, I currently feel Practical Move is the current derby favorite.
Reincarnate is my value pick that I will play if I get odds in the future wager this weekend. I haven't looked into fair value or odd that I'd accept yet.
Also have Candy Ride at something like 34 to 1. (I truly feel future wagers are pure stupidity, but for entertainment I can bite the bullet for the sake of fun value) Looks like I have a few live rooting interests... LETTTS GOOO!

I've fixed a few things since posting, like changing 2022 to 2023 in the header and I had a few out of order. If you see anything else, like distance changes or something, let me know.
