Where To Buy?

I know I've seen some suggestions of web sites that sell books at a fair price. I believe Dave Schwartz had mentioned one. I forgot to write them down.

I'm interested in buying Efficency of Racetrack Markets. I saw it on ebay for $425--I'm not interested in that copy.

If anyone has a good source I'd appreciate it.

Happy Holidays to all.

Thanks

The best is:

http://www.abe.com
American Book Exchange

What is great about it is that you can often contact the seller directly and eliminate the middleman. Much faster shipping, same price.

Is anyone of you guys interested in writing a chapter or some
such thing for a book? This guy I know is wanting to write a
"different" handicapping book. Any one here want to write a
chapter on a topic YOU love & know. Just say yeah or E me.

I borrowed this one at my university library. It is quite an academic book so it might be worth a shot to look at a university or college near you.

A good source to find out of print books is www.addall.com. They identify a few sources for the Ziemba book. The lowest price one is $85 plus shipping. However, I have a copy I'd sell for $75 with no shipping charge. I have lots of other rare handicapping books that I'd like to sell. Those interested can email me any titles they're interested in.

UK colleague looking for a copy of Hausch, Ziemba et al's collection of essays'
Efficiency of Racetracks Betting Markets', - this is the hardback collection not the paper of the same name. Amazon have two starting at $2000 but that price is rediculous.

Anyone got a line on one?

I could have bought that for $20 and a half price bookstore here a few months ago. I wish I would have bought it and sold it myself!
