Yes, all those races are run, but how many of them are you going to be betting? Are you going to play every track, every day?

If not, you might miss the occasional longshots. Or they all might come at a track you don't play.

If he only plays night tracks when he gets home from work, he should leave the day tracks out of his study.

Tom. i'm trying to weed out tracks where the system doesn't work as well as other tracks.however my model is just too small as yet. however if in mdn, races and half or maybe 5 are first timers i'll pass that race.

I think Robert Fischer's post is closest to my point of view.
Because those higher paying winners are the races I most want to win I would try different filters to see if I could identify criteria that would help me determine which races would be most likely to produce that scenario. By isolating your plays to those races your win % should rise. You can achieve outrageous ROI figures that way, even though you will undoubtedly have to weather some long downturns along the way. Wins of that sort tend to come in bunches, followed by longish waits. That is why I like Pizzolla's little wagering ditty "let the bet make you".

Hey, Appy, wassup?

I'm surprised that this thread has gotten this far along and nobody's asked the OP exactly what the angle he's working on is.

For me, the game is all about angles, not figures, and I've got more angles than a middle school geometry teacher!

Hey Ocala.
I.ve got angles starting back 40 + years.
I recall someone on this board said, An angle might last around 6 days.
of course i haven't found one that last forever.
But if i can get maybe 5 or 6 that gives me a profit, i'm happy.
And no, i'm not ready to share this one as yet.
notthat im greedy, but I have been shamed in the past.
