Sorry, did not get in on the last day, was out for the Super Bowl. Handi (and others), any conclusions or thoughts on the "black box"? I didn't have time, but curious how consensus picks did (say when 6 or 7 out of 10 of the boxes had the same pick)? Were any +$19 picks selected by more than 1 box? Handi, it was a very interesting journey as you say, and thanks again for your lead on "unwrapping the box".

Thanks To All Who Participated!

All,
This has been a pleasure for me to follow! First of all, I never would have believed this handicapping offering would ever get underway! Usually the ground rules can never be agreed upon! There were some differences in how to conduct the program but thanks to the entrants these were dealt with in a positive way! Jeff Platt, Dave Schwartz, Raybo and perhaps a few others explained their varied approaches but contributed anyway. Kudos to them!
Excellent project and this gives PA's board another reason for horseplayers
to be uniquely informed on a daily basis.

P.S A Special thanks to Handi for his work on this project!

Thanks Max and everybody who took part in one way or another. I felt really good about how this came off. I believe it was done in the original way I had planned, and that was not any chest beating or put downs or anything like that.

It gave me some insight into how Black Box handicapping might go and what varied results there might be. And as my way of thanking everyone, I'm going to let anyone who wants to jump in and make me look silly by way of really handicapping, they can do it in the Wall Street Contest.

There, some chest beating will be allowed, as it will be a graded event in the form of rankings by ROI.

Hope to see as many people as possible jump in there, because this is going to be all about handicapping skill and not a program.

And everyone says this game is hard....nice job. I know it's a small sample but I am truly surprised at all the fat positive ROI's
