$6995.00 E-Bay Racing Program!

All,
I was astounded this morning when I saw the above ad on E-bay this morning. It is Norman Ford's Force Method for Handicapping Race Horses.
It has a great deal of interesting information on Norman Ford ( who I never heard of before today)
I 'm not interested in the method at that price but would like some handicappers to comment on Mr. Ford!

P.s. The collection of books looked old and worn!

My favourite from the article quoted on ebay:

Q. Do you guarantee I can make money with this method?

A. Don't be a jackass. How do I know you can even understand it?

Sounds very familiar....

Thanks For The Link on N. Ford!!

Donnie,
Thank you for posting the link on Mr. Ford! Somehow, I missed the the reports on both the author and the material. I was shocked by the E-Bay asking price and had to find out the scoop!
Hope everything is going well with you and HTR!

Arrogance!

Banacek,
Looking at Mr. Ford's resume, he appears to be a brilliant guy with
with lots of ideas he would like to develop! It appears, for unknown reasons, they were suppressed and he never reached some of his goals!
Many times people in that situation become arrogant and offer sarcastic quips to answer questions that they themselves have the immediate answers for. They often are not satisfied with their position in life and use the above quips to feel good about themselves at other peoples' expense.

Maxspa,
thanks for the kind words! Everything is going great! Hope all is well with you as well.
Like you, I about fell out of my chair when I saw that price. At first I thought it was a typo! And they do look real beat up in the photo, don't they?
