a friend of mine called me and gave me the first-time starter in the 3rd race. the horse had a morning line of 2-1. in the gate 9/5. the horse came out of the gate right on top and was 4 on to the good at the top of the lane. he wound up paying 4.40!

i looked through your past performances and pace numbers, they were real good.

i gave up playing Hong Kong about 4 years ago. they got huge pools, but i couldn't get any of the money, i got smoked there!

Race 5 Hardly Swears (5-2) Just as he was coming back into form he caught two races with a yielding track, then drew in with the 11-gate going 1.200 metres at Happy Valley. Broke just a step slow and was immediately taken to the rear so as not to be caught wide in the short turn soon after the start. Started to get into the race just before the turn while finding himself three with cover, while the eventual winner was able to gain an easy lead and was never challenged at any point in the stretch. Entering the stretch, he drifted out to the four path and finished evenly while on his wrong lead. Today he draws in on the rail and picks up Purton for the first time.

I am looking forward to HK's new season too! Since I moved to the West Coast, the Saturday evening start times are not so onerous any more. Wednesdays at 3:30am are a bit more of a slog though ... It was a nice opener with a few nice prices.

Was just browsing a few websites looking for HK Tips and I found one called Racing and Sports

Apparently, they have different screens on ranking horses and also include detailed past performances or race cards on all races which I found to be a reliable source for handicapping foreign races and possibly to use for handicapping the overseas horses shipping into the Breeders Cup!

Below is what Racing Post kinda does with their Postdata for their cards to rank horses based on Ability Form Track Distance etc the example is from R1 today from Happy Valley

Lots to be absorbed but I know some people here might like this plus it's free!
