I blame The Weather Channel.....Who else would hire all of those Climatologist. All of sudden weather has become a worldwide problem instead of a two minute blurb on the nightly news. A convenient sideshow for the 24/7 news cycle. I call it the funny paper for TV.

Back in the 60s, we had a statin in Rochester that featured "The Weather Outside" with Jerry Carr. It was the 11 o'clock weather report and it was held in an alley outside the midtown mall. He wold say things like - warm, cold, or if it was raining, he might just shrug his shoulders and smile! Lasted 5 minutes tops.
Sometimes under a minute.

We have people starving all over the world NOW.
If half the effort to sell climate change were devoted to feeding THEM we would all be better off.

As far as coastal cities, no-brainer - MOVE INLAND.
