Longshot software?

Are there software programs available for longshots only? (or at least claiming to be for longshots ony) If so, any recommendations?

Thanks,

Slim

Slim,
While it’s certainly not “long shots" only HTR is on the short list of overlay seeking software. Considering the amount of success (per capita) they enjoy in contest’s that alone speaks to its power.

I have a random number generator that might work.

American Turf

Go to American Turf Monthly and look at the software Pro Rated Longshots by Dan Geer. He used to put out freebie picks and he really did hit some good ones.

Overlay seeking is the way for longshots. I use All-In-One V6 which does the handicapping and then generates dependable Fair Odds. Just bet horses going off in excess of these Fair Odds and you have longshots galore.

A basic Google search is a good place to start.

Man with the way chalk is running all over the country, I'd rather book the longshots then bet them.

Pitlak has a longshot finder that uses a version of Dan Geer's pro-rated longshots method, or so the claim on the website goes.

Absolutely right. Havent seen anything like it for a while now. Even
TDN One could always count many box cars over there ..but
not now. Some would say they " cleaned up their act. "

There's one in the works. Right, Boxcar? Ooops...I didn't want to say his name too loud here.

You can say that again...it used to be one of my favorite tracks to 'invest' in. I guess there are a lot more "sharks" (and less 'dumb' money) than ever before.

Software doesn't need to be specifically designed for longshots for it to be successful in playing longshots. You need to find software that fits YOUR style and your "handicapping head" for lack of a better term.

If you ever did find software that was specifically geared to finding longshots, and it was successful, you can bet your bottom dollar that those longshots will turn to not-so-longshots in due time. Money is a very powerful motivator....

Correct...

... to be followed by some members of the peanut gallery here will condescendingly deride those who claim that software has deflated odds.
