The Gr1 Haskell
Who's it gonna be?
I hope not Verrazano because I am not using him on top.
Going with my boy Oxbow and Micromanage on top.

Verrazano looks quite tough in this spot...leave him off at your peril
Using TimeForm today...they have this race as favoring horses on or near the early lead...Verrazano looks to have that advantage today...and his figs make him more than competitive...so he looks like a legit favorite to me...

They will surely hook up, but I say Oxbow is too much man for Verrazano and will turn him away when they start getting down to business.
Yes, Oxbow is one of my favorite horses so I am partial to him...in fact, he's a bit like your pal Shackleford, who loved to brawl and won a lot of them.
I really hope Micromanage nails em both late...Power Broker may be dangerous for Baffert, the king of the Haskell, but I say he gets gassed trying to keep up with the top two.

Shackleford has a great name, doesn't he? It's just fun to say....
But I don't remember him winning a lot of them...I do remember him finishing second often after a tough battle...

Pick of the Litter. Gets a favorable pace scenario and closes. The Lexington is a key race. w/p good value.

Not a particularly fast early bunch.
Verrazano by default I guess.
Not worth a bet.

it's cool if Oxbow runs 2nd, as long as Micromanage is the winner
ex:
5-6 w 4-5-6-7
win:
6

Verrazano looks good enough. Just watching too. I think it is to his advantage to be outside of Oxbow. Maybe too much of a disadvantage for Oxbow rather.
Further confusion to top 3YO after this race?

I think Verrazano is sitting on a huge race today.

I'm tossing Vzano and betting the "other" Pletcher as well as Baffert. Box em up! This is a long race, maybe if Oxbow rolls on the lead, VZ will have trouble battling and holding on.
