Been there, done that. Like the "grossly comprehensive" ObamaCare bill. Boehner didn't want to go down that road again.

Senate Democrats say Republicans could head off President Obama’s immigration plans by passing the Senate’s own immigration bill — the only problem is the Democrats still haven’t sent the measure to the House for a vote.

Known as S.744, the 1,200-page bill has been bottled up by Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, in a bit of legislative gamesmanship that has clouded much of the debate over the past two years. Now, that bill has become the centerpiece of last-minute chiding as Democrats say they have exhausted all alternatives except for having Mr. Obama go it alone.

Bring a gun if they bring a knife

Mitt Romney killed a woman

This exec order will be the bane of illegals when the courts or a new Prez rescinds it. They will instantly lose their jobs etc.

Obama is going to go down defeated in court again. This guy is more a clown every day.

Yeah...and just who do you envision this "new Prez" as being? It seems that you're mighty cock-sure that a Democrat won't get elected again or that a RINO won't finally win one.

"Grossly comprehensive", someone said? Does that mean it would have to be passed first before anyone understands what's in it?

Most of us also remember how President Lincoln life ended, too. Not advocating anything like that - far from it, in fact it would make him a martyr, the worst thing anyone opposed to his policies would want.

A shame that Wilkes Booth couldn't heed the voices of reason online

Doesn't matter what is in the bill if the spineless and ignorant legislators delegate the writing of all of the rules and regulations to the administration.

Pelosi should have said we have to pass the bill and have Sebelius write the rules and regulations so we can find out what is in it. Does any rational person believe that the Senate's 1,200 page 'comprehensive' immigration reform bill would be comprehensible when passed?

I'm on record that a Repub can't win. There are scenarios where a Dem could repeal this too.

I don't see how they can right now. The leading Republicans are Senators, and none of them have the sizzle to get the low information voters or the experience to meet objective job requirements. I think that there are a number of GOP governors who are much better qualified for the job that the GOP Senate crop or any Dem, but they lack name recognition and sizzle.

Obama is proof that you DON'T need experience to get elected. You just need to be black, and a convincing liar.
