just to clarify things, the money that Israel gets is not a hand out technically, its in the form of loan guarantees by the president, at least that was the case around 10 years ago when they were co-signed for $9 billion.

this is often mistaken for the handouts that are given to the Palestinians.

Israel had a relation with Turkey, a long time Greek advisory, until around 1995, now Israel has backed off, but the Greeks never loved Israel for that main reason.

Israel has been a very important ally of the United States for decades...and one of the few in that area of the world.

Iran...the Palestinians...and a whole bunch of other countries in the middle east, not so much.

Actually it’s more telling how Israel has lost broad support of this war, not just among arab-Americans. Seems folks in general tend to get a bad taste in their mouths when they get a steady diet of dead kids and war crimes footage in their social media feeds.
