Opening day at Saratoga Irad could take half the card

It won’t be shocking but I think after looking at today’s 10 races Irad is set up for a very good day. I’m predicting 5 wins. Also look out for Tyler Gaffalione.

I will say Irad gets so overbet, and it is even worse at Saratoga. Almost worth throwing him out every time.

Throwing him out everytime ? He’s usually the leading rider there or runner up the last several years. Overbet? Heck ya he is! you just have to know when to pick your spots.

He should have easily won 4 races today. One race he lost due to not paying attention and was picked up by a bomb on his inside.

The first two races could have easily been wins but they weren’t .

You said he could take half the card.....CJ said he is so overbet..especially at Saratoga...maybe throw him out everytime... so if I threw him out on every race today..I would have had a chance on 9 out of 10 races. Just asking.

If I really think he is going to win, I'll likely pass. I did exactly that in the race he won today. I liked the horse but not at 2-1.

In horizontals you don't really have that option. I'll certainly use him at times.
