I would expect no less from you.
Unlike your fine country, we don't have 27 multiple shootings every day.

Why is there always one antagonistic jack ass person from another continent comparing their country to the USA as far as shootings are concerned.
You are surrounded by water, we have a 2,000 mile leaky border with Mexico.
You have 75% of our land mass and 8% of our population. You also have next to none of the ethnicities that commit the bulk of the violent crime in the USA.

Almost every single one of your off topic posts is an attempt to antagonize someone. You must be a miserable person.

You also have better enforcement of laws concerning illegal drugs. The USA has gang wars over area for illegal drug sales. Even if guns became illegal in US like Australia, the drug sales gangs would have them. There is enough fentanyl in the country now to kill everyone.

You also have better enforcement of immigration and visa overstays. As well as people working from foreign countries that are not allowed.

Any body that wants a gun for bad reasons here, would most probably have them now.

Drugs are a huge problem too.

I guess the main difference would be the much smaller population.

As for immigration, we have lots of it apparently, because if we didn't, the whole economy would probably collapse.

Look at Mexico, only a couple places sell guns, the permit to buy one takes months and unless you are in law enforcement or the military you cannot posses a hand gun outside of your residence. Considering that their homicide rate is almost 5 times ours. Also if you made guns illegal today and only military and law enforcement could buy them how many hundreds of years would it take to put a dent in the supply to decrease gun deaths? I routinely make parts for 150 year old guns. I have a customer whose main business is selling to people who restore and collect vintage foreign rifles. There are so many podunk machine shops (love that insult I got from Cliffy) that have the capacity to make gun parts, a black market for guns and repair parts would flourish. Most your low volume small arm manufactures only make specific parts. You could have a rifle that had 10 different companies producing parts for it.

A gun ban here would be awesome, I could charge my customer $25 for the 7" long firing pins and he could sell them for $75, instead of $8 and $25.
There are so many of those 18th century dueling pistols around you can get a pair in decent shape for $1500. If they made gun possession illegal, how many people would hand over their guns? I know I am not going to and I have 10 acres to hide them on.

How do you know the guy who got himself killed was a Muslim? Did they report his religion? Or just his nationality?

Who exactly has biases in this thread? You fancy yourself as non-biased? I think you just busted yourself, no?

It was reported that he was a Muslim.

If he was a practising one, I have no idea.
I dislike all religion, and don't discriminate.

As far as bias, I was referring to JustRalph, and what he said is on this thread, so there can be no doubt of his bias.
And yes, I do have inbuilt biases, I don't like religion. and i don't like conservative.
And when both are true, then like them even less.

I see your water is still bad.
If I antagonise anybody, is none of my business, and I care even less.
Perhaps, it's simply that I see things differently, than your average right winged fruit loop.

Maybe it's time to ban knives in Australia.

You make idiotic comparisons between your country and the USA, you see things differently because you seem to be lacking something, common sense, intelligence, or maybe both. The first sentence you wrote makes no sense.

So, I just checked my posts, and there is no idiotic, or otherwise, comparisons between yours and mine country, other than some comments on guns.
That first sentence of my post making no sense to you, is surely proof, that your water has done something dastardly to your brain!
Do keep on yakking though, as your posts are great reads, and would do the late great Benny Hill proud.

Where the hell is Nurse Ratched when you need her?

Oh, yes........this is really rich.
Australia's murder rate with firearms is around 30 times less than ours/100K.
The US should be so lucky.

Yet, all the inmates in this asylum can cackle about
is ending a knife tragedy with a gun. Morons.

I truly believe that the usual male suspects around here would take
a piss into a straight-on hurricane gale....and not even notice.

Data ive read say yes, gun violence is higher in the US. But stabbing violence is lower in the US than in countries with strict gun control, which malkes perfect sense.
