We've come a long way since "Heart On" was deemed unacceptable 30 years ago (the horse's name was changed to "Heart One" before ever actually starting).

Hearing that Bofa Deez Nutz is a gelding.
Does that mean there will be a name change from Bofa to Nona?

My all time favorite was a horse named Bucket Mouth. He was meant to be a betting tool and they gave him an ugly name so that the silly people who bet based on a horse's name would bet against him and improve his odds.

The best name of all
Back in the late 1960's-early 1970's, there was a first time starter ,running at Belmont Park(yes,I was there),whose name was CUNNING STUNT.

There's a harness horse named Domedomedome. Dawn Lupul at woodbine had the race call when he won. She's a fairly attractive woman hearing her in the stretch say do me do me do me. Good times....

Xpressbet shows lots of racing from France, both harness and t-breds in the AM hours. A horse named Beethov ran in a Trot race last week.

Play Fellow's name was originally Bye Ear Dear; the name was changed before the horse actually started.
Late-'70s Silky Sullivan NYRA runalike Framarco was originally named Tivoli - and did run under that name in Puerto Rico.
