It's amazing how 46 acts like a zapped nerve whenever you dare criticize Canada or Canadian healthcare...and yet he lives here in the USA...odd...

I think 46 even pre dates 8 track tapes in his HS years, didn't they come out in the late 60's? I think a lot of times he fails to realize how dated his knowledge is. If he was a foot doctor as some have claimed I am sure he studied plenty of medical topics 50+ years ago of which he never updated his knowledge.
The big changes to me is in the area of mental issues, when I was a kid 50+ years ago it was only thought that boxers could end up with permanent brain damage from getting hit in the head, now they know in some people a soccer or volley ball can cause a concussion and with repetition possible permanent damage. I keep abreast of new knowledge in that area because I have had too many concussions to count. I have learned everyone is different as how much they can take so far I look like I am the hard headed type.
Another thing having a psychopath for a nephew, I did a lot of study of genetic mental issues, a lot has been learned in that area, every other kid was not drugged 50 years ago. What I did learn is there was no fixing my nephew, he had every drug and counseling under the sun. I think over medicating kids causes problems.

Don't all lefties worship Trudeau's Canada? Also weird is lefties take it personal when you rip on the politicians and agencies they love. I am sure you are aware of how bent Cliffy gets when you even rip on the Capitol Police.

Indeed she has.
Spent 3+ years at level 7 pain.
The spinal cord stimulator was a big help with that. Literally took her from level 7 to ZERO overnight.
If you have serious chronic back pain look into one of those.

Death by Doctor May Soon Be Available for the Mentally Ill in Canada
Canada already has one of the most liberal assisted death laws in the world, offering the practice to terminally and chronically ill Canadians.

In 2017, the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation, the three key health policy challenges are long waits for some elective health-care services,In 2017, the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation, the three key health policy challenges are long waits for some elective health-care services,
Canadians have a life expectancy at birth of 82·14 years (table), which is longer than the OECD average. Canada also outperforms the USA, the UK, and Denmark in terms of amenable mortality (ie, deaths that should not occur in the presence of timely and effective health care), as measured through the Health Access and Quality (HAQ) Index.13 But key observations from international comparisons point to a decades-long struggle with w ait times for some elective care and inequitable access to services outside the traditional Medicare strength of hospitals and doctors

Yes, the health care back home (Canada) is great until you have to use it.
