Date of GP Rainbow Mandatory Payout?

Y'all,

I apologize if this has been asked recently. Since I couldn't find with the PA search function, would someone tell me which day will be the mandatory payout for the Rainbow Six at Gulfstream?

Stu

Rainbow 6 carryover for Sunday over $3.3 million. FYI the decision made not to disperse R6 jackpot until June 29 if it continues to survive

lol at dispersing it June 29th.

Don't most people stop betting GP after the Fla Derby and don't most elite trainers and jocks leave GP on or about that very same date?

So, what GP is saying is that a 10 million dollar (or more) mandatory payout is going to be paid out with, for the most part, "Starving" jocks riding 5k claimers on June 29th?

Good comment. Someone there has to come to their senses and end this in the next couple of weeks. Pick a weekend card with a lot of entries ( they can make this happen) and pay it out. Letting this draw out is a slap in the face to all the players that have supported the bet to date.

Thanks.

They know that many people stop following and betting GP when the elite trainers and jocks leave the grounds.....and yet, they're going to hold that money hostage till June 29th so they can have millions of dollars riding on cheap races with starving jocks?

Bingo! It is the smart business thing to do. If it were me, I'd never have a mandatory payout.

a terrible bet!throw in the fact that your also up against phantom DQ's and it becomes an even worse bet. I can see a payout of $18.40 for 5 of 6!

What are they doing with all the interest they are collecting? Does anything of that belong to the pool/player?

That's a good point, but i'm sure they're keeping all that money they're collecting....what's interesting, and i don't know the answer, is that sometimes money is just "virtual". In other words, maybe that 4 million is not sitting in a bank account somewhere, but i don't know how it works. Good question.

Have you checked interest rates lately?

That statement amazes me! Its the stupidest thing I've heard in a while. They will surely make tons of friends and many people happy with this move............... Are you serious? Or just being a jackass? Sometimes I wonder. At least I admit that I act like a jackass at times. You seem pretty smart and then say something like this....the customers are going to love it!............ I can come up with other reasons to disperse that money from time to time too.......
