Worst kept secret in the NBA ....Phil Jackson and Luc Walton heading to the Lakers? Seems like a no brainer for the Lakers organization.

Kevin Durant to Golden State is the rumor out there.
OKC going to live the pipe dream and hold on to him and get nothing in return?
what's going on there CJ?

Absolutely nothing but a rumor. I still think staying in OKC is the heavy favorite. But you know what, if he leaves, he leaves. Life will go on for the team, the city, and yes, even me. I'll be ok.
Your team is looking to trade a top 10 player. What gives with that? There time of being relevant is nearing a close IMO. This would only speed the process. No way they get fair value for him. We'll give you Serge and Dion or Singler!

I would trade Durant, you can get a boatload for him, if he was staying he would have made that known, it's not like he's getting anything less than max contract, he can stop all the rumors by signing an extension tomorrow.
I would consiser trading Griffin too, the team is winning without him, there's no reason they can't get fair value for him, it only takes one team to decide they love Blake and will pay anything to get him. He sells tickets, which is also a factor.
Clips likely to make deal for backup PG they can't wait around for Rivers to get healthy w CP playing the entire 2nd half of games.

Actually, he can't sign an extension tomorrow. I don't think it is even allowed. But even if he could, it would be incredibly foolish. He will make much more money waiting until free agency. The max now is much less than the max will be come July. What exactly do you think they would get for him as a two month rental anyway?
The Clippers are winning without Blake, but not against the good teams. They won't be a real contender without him unless they rob someone via trade, very unlikely to happen.

What do you consider fair value? If you were the Clippers what kind of offer would get you interested?

A player of equal value, a top 10 guy in the league. Anything less is a big loss for a variety of reasons.

What about a package with next years #1 pick (Simmons)?

First, you can't know what pick you are going to get before the lottery. Second, nobody with a lot of ping pong balls is going to trade their first round pick without a "#1 protected clause," even for Blake.

They are trying to trade him now allegedly.
Nobody is going to trade away #1 knowing they will get Simmons.

Anyone have a guess for tonight's All Star Game?
Kobe's last ASG ... seems to be the storyline
West is favored by 6.
If they let Kobe put on a show for the fans, West should roll. They've got a better overall lineup as well.
I'm picking the East+6 for fun. LeBron and Wade and a more workmanlike lineup. No pressure to prop up a star (although LeBron will have a big night if he's feeling it).
Only thing tougher than picking this game is watching it.
