Bill (Binder here at PA) was a special guy who contributed a lot to horse racing. He loved Doc Sartin and affected my life significantly. Here's our tribute to him at P&C: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12925
RIP brother.

I just read about his passing this morning. Bill was one of the nicest people I ever "met" on the internet. He was always willing to help and had a great sense of humor. I will really miss him.
My condolences to his family and those that were close to him. Bill and I shared the love of a great movie. So I will close with...
Let it Ride,
Jim

I'm so sorry to hear this....
I met Bill & Ted back in 2009 up at Saratoga...they both are the nicest people you ever want to meet..
They will bend over backwards to help you ....
Bill carried the Sartin Methodology well over 40+ years and was the best at it...
My condolences to his family and the people that knew him
Mike
Heres the photo back in 09....
Bill is next to the young lady, which I believe is Howard Sartin's grand daughter.

Yes, Mariana Sartin. We were all so young back then. Especially you Mike (I'll let you identify yourself).
That was a memorial race for Sartin and Jim Bradshaw which Bill and I organized.
Ted

Condolences go out to Bill and his family.
Was recently a new member on Pace and Cap and enjoyed playing in the NFL Pick'em contest with him. Always liked how he recognized the people who did well during that week (did that for a couple of weeks).
Thanks for the fun Bill, even if I only knew you for a few months.
You will be missed

Rest in Peace Bill! What a wonderful gentleman. Such a wonderful soul you will rarely come across in many lifetimes. Most sincere condolences to all of his family and friends.

Bill was very gracious man, and a big help to a lot of people trying to use a variety of Sartin programs. Doc would have been proud of him, carrying on the legacy of teaching.
He helped me on several occasions and I am grateful to have known him.
