Just for some contrast - there sure seemed to be a LOT of people on what looked like a non-elevated apron area at the Melbourne Cup!!!!

I’d say the closure of the infield tells you that the Breeders Cup wants to exclude the ordinary fans. One could almost suspect that the event is more for the pleasure of the connected few than the advancement of the sport itself.

But everyone's experience is different. In any event, the BC is certainly INTENDING that GA be $50 plus an $80 parking charge and have very little access to the plant, even though they might not be enforcing it. If you buy the same ticket at a future BC, you are gambling they won't enforce it.
Literally not one time anywhere other than the contest room. I even had to evict a guy with a GA ticket from my seat (Section L) one of the few times I actually went there. Nobody said a word when I came to see you either, Nice to meet you, of course!

Thanks to all who came to the races. But it was quite pleasant on Sunday with all the tourists gone.
