Free speech is problematic...in a country now of 325 million people, no matter what your views are and how much you cherish them, there are going to be literally millions who do not....who's right...? who's wrong...?
If you start rioting and destroying stuff then you will reap the whirlwind of counter-action, and that breeds new conflict in an endless dialectic of fear hate and violence...
...there are a lot of "folks" that like and enjoy that kind of stuff...it gets them going...makes them feel more alive...gives "meaning" to their lives...fighting and dying for a "cause" somehow gives the impression of being raised to a different level...makes "better" those that abuse, in a twisted kind of mental servility...
