I'd be willing to bet that 125 out of those 154 "scholars" are diehard Democrats, or Democrats who claim to be "independent" in order to appear non-partisan. We're talking about academia, after all.
Example: Republicans ranked Ronald Reagan as the 5th greatest president. Democrats ranked him 18th. His final ranking was 16th. Imagine that.
The survey also shows that
Republicans rank Bill Clinton as the 10th greatest president while Democrats rank him 12th. That's where I stopped reading.
